OUR HISTORY
Over the years…
Denae started out working at the sweet shop on the Point Pleasant Boardwalk in High School. She loved the business so much she managed the store while attending college.
Denae opened her own Candy & Ice Cream store in Toms River, NJ which thrived for 14 years! Denae and her staff watched their loyal family’s children grow up and made lifetime friends and memories. Denae’s was the “go to” Sweet Shop.
2018
Sadly, after 14 years most of their beloved families fled the area due to demographic changes. Denae made the heartbreaking decision to close the shop’s doors.
Denae launches Denae’s Sweet Shop online! Denae still makes the treats, and we are here to build ourselves back up so that we can bring the memories of Denae’s back to our loyal customers.
